Unexpected Hiatus

So it’s March? Where have I been the last two months? Well, gosh, even I don’t know where time has gone. All I can say is after a big year of reading 103 books, writing 132 blog posts and foraying into bookstagram I finished the year tired and worn out. So tired and worn out that I lost my desire to read and blog. The Christmas period and two weeks of holidays had me visiting family, adventuring with friends and binge watching The O.C. (no shame or regret!). But here I am, March 1st 2017 and ready to get back into it! In fact, an unexpected illness last week had me back with a vengeance. Five books in four days kinda vengeance. What do we have to look forward to? Plenty of reviews to catch up on! Wine & Words Wednesday will make a come back (I know that *I* have missed it). All the action from Adelaide Writers Week, starting this weekend featuring some great local and international authors, think Hannah Kent, Jessie Burton, Ian McGuire, Melina Marchetta, John Marsden, A.S. Patric and many more! Plus follow my attempt to finish this years Stella Prize shortlist (to be announced next week) celebrating the amazing talent of Australian women and their delectable words. I hope you join in my excitement, conveniently forget my absence and lets get this 2017 blog party started.
